My DJ, Moonshadow's Dancin' In The Dark, was featured on the 2007 cover of www.petprints.com   Norwich/Norfolk Calendar!

DJ is now romping on Rainbow Bridge (April 1998-December 9, 2008. He was bred by Barb Passina in upstate New York at her Moonshadow Kennel . DJ was also featured in a the month of Febuary with a beautiful head portrait.

To further our excitment in 2007, two additional photos were chosen of my dogs for other monthy photos. One is the photo on the first page of this website with four Shoebuttons sitting on the bench.

The other monthy picture is of CH. Moonshadow's Odin O'Bear dancing on his hind legs as a puppy. I, at that time, co-owned him with Michaela Clancy and helped show him to his Championship in 2005. He was also bred by Barb Passina.

The 2008 Pet Prints Calendar, once again,  featurerd a Shoebutton Norwich in the month of May! This time it was CH Shoebutton's Beau Burnside, CGC, MX, AXJ, JE  (Sam). He has a full standing shot and looks beautiful! His coat has remained a jet black for his seven years of life!

Sam is my first Bred-By AKC Champion. Besides being my devoted friend and companion, he has managed to achieve his Master Agility Title being handled by Dr Marion Shaw! She has since encouraged him to gain his Junior Earth Dog Title and one leg in Senior! Together, Sam and I got his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certificate. This makes him a Master Versitility Titled Norwich. This is quite an accompolishment as I can find only two others in the US since the title was offered

The March 2009 Calendar shows Shoebutton's Highwood Dance (Heidi) in the March Slot. The 'Magic' continues.

Needless to say, this is something that was totally unexpected (one never knows which stock photos the publishers will choose at any given time) and we at Shoebutton kennels are very grateful. It seems the Shoebutton ' magic' has shown in these past years how it consistently manifests in strange ways! Each dog seems to carry the magical aura.....in their own way!

Upcoming local events in  any area where you may spot a Shoebutton Norwich or another Norwich performing may be found at www.infodog.com . Hit 'show calendar' and browse for events in your proximity. Generally, I stay within a 100 mile radius of Baltimore. There are plenty of shows and agility trials to keep the Shoebuttons busy in this area.

Calendars can always be ordered from PetPrints at their website, www.petprints.com. All Shoebutton 'calendar' photos were taken by Close Encounters of the Furry Kind. Thank you Jeanie!
